Chef Nick Hebel is a Colorado native who grew up in Highlands Ranch and has spent the past 15 years living and cooking in Steamboat Springs. With 14 years of experience as a chef, he has showcased his skills at some of the area’s most popular spots, including Slopeside, The Shack, Rex's, Otto Pint, Roots, and Seedz. Nick holds an Associate of Arts in Hotel and Resort Management, a Culinary School degree, and is ServSafe certified—demonstrating both his passion for the craft and dedication to high standards in the kitchen.

Nick moved to Steamboat Springs when he fell in love with Kim, his partner of ten years, drawn by his love for snowboarding and the surrounding mountains. Nick's journey into the culinary world began unexpectedly. He discovered a passion for cooking that led him to enroll in culinary school and to over a decade long successful career. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Nick was inspired to forge his own path and build something from the ground up. This blend of spontaneous passion and entrepreneurial spirit propelled him into a fulfilling career as a chef and caterer.
